Another beautiful day in Acadia for a wedding. Seriously! The day was perfect for Kait and Mike who have been planning and pouring their heart into their wedding with family and friends for a long time now. It was so worth it and everything was perfection!
It’s fall in the park so that means leaf peepers are all here checking out the scenery. I have to admit, it’s the busiest I’ve ever seen the park, especially on a Monday! But the site they picked for their ceremony was pretty much empty, except a few hikers walking by and stopping to witness their nuptials.
One of their good friends officiated their ceremony and it was such a fun and touching ceremony. It brought tears to Mike’s eyes. I love it when a groom gets emotional on his wedding day!
This has been the week of infectious smiles and laughs and Kait and Mike definitely fit in that category! Their day was filled with so many laughs and smiles – Kait’s giggle wins the day.
I loved capturing their joy and had so much fun getting creative with their portraits in all the different spots throughout the park. The real MVP of the day was Glenn, a friend of the couple, and his skills at holding my light so it didn’t blow into the ocean in a few spots!
