Madison and Jacob had the perfect fall day for their Woodlands Club Wedding in Falmouth, Maine. The leaves have just started to change here in Maine giving us a good mix of end of summer greens with the pops of color that come with fall. A perfect accent to the colors Jacob and Madison selected for their day!
Oh and you’re going to LOVE the bridesmaids dresses. They had me swooning with sleeves and a comfy fit all around. But lets not jump too far ahead! I have to share Madison and Jacobs engagement story first!
Jacob proposed during his and Madison’s road trip to Tennessee. On this trip and after he popped the question, they made a stop at The Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. One of the performers, Hailey Whitters, had a show in New Hampshire the week prior that Jacob’s parents attended. At the New Hampshire show, Jacob’s parents told Hailey about Jacob proposing in Nashville and that they would be attending her performance at the Grand Ole Opry. That night while she was on stage Hailey gave Jacob and Madison a shout-out and congratulated them on our engagement! They knew Jacobs parents met the performer but did not know that she was planning on giving them a shout-out! Jacob and Madison are both country music lovers and definitely something they will never forget!
Fast forward to their wedding, another day they will never forget. Madison and her girls were busy getting ready with hair and make up in Topsham while Jacob and his guys, along with his family, were at the most gorgeous antique home in Brunswick. The home in Brunswick was such a picturesque location! Which worked out because when Dean arrived to photograph them, Jacob was so excited he was already fully dressed and ready to go! He and his guys had their own mini-photoshoot on the property before they left for the church to greet the guests.
When they headed for the church the girls piled into the limo and headed to the property for their own photoshoot among the trees and in front of the gorgeous barn doors. There may have been a Shrek reference or two when Dean texted me to tell me about the boulder out back that was perfect for some shots. It was a nice boulder.
Once everyone arrived at the church their ceremony got underway and then after they were whisked off to the Woodlands Club for the reception. It was a fun night filled with touching speeches from both Jacob’s brother and Madison’s sister and dancing the night away. We loved seeing Madison’s grandfather on the dance floor along with her mom and Jacobs mom breaking out some sweet dance moves!
