Some weddings radiate pure happiness, and Sidney and Drew’s fall wedding at the Danversport Yacht Club was exactly that. It was one of those “when you know, you know” love stories filled with laughter, meaningful moments, and a celebration that truly reflected their connection.
The day began in downtown Salem, where Sidney got ready with her mom and five bridesmaids. The energy in the room was contagious filled with laughter, music, and even a few “Karate Kid” style kicks. To make the day even more special, it was also her mom’s birthday!
Before heading to the venue, we slipped away to the Salem waterfront, dodging the Halloween-weekend crowds, for some portraits in the golden afternoon sun. Sidney was absolutely stunning, her glamorous “Hollywood waves” catching the light perfectly against the harbor backdrop.
Meanwhile, Drew and his groomsmen were in Danvers, getting ready and sharing laughs – though, as we later found out, not a single one of them thought to eat lunch! The excitement of the day took over as everyone made their way to the Danversport, where the fall colors framed the marina in rich tones of gold and crimson.
Sidney and Drew’s first look on the lawn was emotional and full of joy. They took a few quiet moments together before joining their family and friends for portraits and the ceremony overlooking the water. As they exchanged vows with the marina as their backdropsurrounded by the warm glow of the autumn sun and the sparkles on the water.
The celebration continued with heartfelt toasts, nonstop dancing, and a surprise birthday cake for Sidney’s mom after the couple cut their wedding cake.
It was a day overflowing with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments, everything a Danversport wedding should be.
