There’s something special about gathering the whole family together to celebrate a milestone and this session at Ocean Point was a true celebration in every sense. The entire extended family was vacationing at the beautiful Bluebird Ocean Point Inn in Boothbay to honor the grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary. With the crashing waves, granite coastline, and golden evening light, we had the perfect coastal backdrop for a joyful and heartfelt portrait session.
The group included the grandparents, their three grown children and spouses, and all the grandkids, each one full of personality and energy. It was a session filled with laughter, big hugs, and lots of running along the rocky shore. We captured timeless portraits of the whole group, smaller family units, cousins together, and of course, just the grandparents, still beaming after five decades of love.
One of the most memorable moments came mid-session when one couple pulled out a sign with their gender reveal from earlier in the day! It was such a sweet moment.
