Carolena was so excited for her family’s trip to Maine this past summer and we can totally understand! I week away enjoying the beach, all the sights and fun little cities like Portland. One (or two) special day trips for them was out to the Portland Headlight for family portraits. We originally tried for a sunset session but Carolena’s little guy was not feeling the sunset. He fell asleep on their way over and just didn’t want to get back up. He spent a little time playing on the swings and checking out the beach but then it was back to bed for him!

We regrouped the next morning back at the headlight and had a great time enjoying the park and getting a few more beach photos along with checking out the lighthouse.

I love getting to share our beautiful state with families while here on vacation!
