There’s something so special about returning to a meaningful location with a growing family, especially when the seasons (and the story) have changed so much. As a Freeport Family Photographer, it’s one of my favorite things to witness.
I first met this incredible couple for their engagement session at Wolfe’s Neck Farm in Freeport. It was a snowy, cold day, James even played guitar through freezing fingers, and we captured some beautiful, intimate moments in the winter landscape. I later had the honor of photographing their wedding, and now, a few years later, we returned to the very same spot for their family portrait session this time with warm sun on our faces and a new little addition holding their hands.
Wolfe’s Neck Farm in spring and summer is bursting with life. This time, the farm welcomed us with green pastures, ocean views, and curious cows that caught the attention of their little one, Mr. B. It was such a joy watching him explore the world with wonder—hand in hand with mom and dad, wandering wooded paths, and stopping every few steps to point, giggle, or smile.
There’s a beautiful sense of full-circle storytelling in sessions like this. From a snowy proposal spot to walking those same trails as a family of three, Wolfe’s Neck holds so many memories for this crew and now they have a new set of portraits to add to their story.
If you’re looking for a meaningful way to capture your family as it grows, Wolfe’s Neck Farm is a gem of a location. And as a Freeport Family Photographer, I’d love to help tell your story in every season.
