Celeste and Kevin’s Friday afternoon wedding at the Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine, was the perfect blend of heartfelt moments, coastal charm, and family celebration. As a Nonantum Wedding Photographer, I absolutely love when couples choose this classic Maine venue, it’s picturesque, welcoming, and ideal for a wedding weekend surrounded by loved ones.
Family and friends traveled from across the U.S. and Canada to be part of the festivities. The Nonantum’s family-friendly atmosphere made it easy for guests of all ages to relax, unwind, and enjoy everything the resort has to offer, from the inviting pool to the scenic waterfront views.
The couple’s first look took place at Colony Beach, a location filled with meaning for Celeste and Kevin. Not only is it one of their favorite spots, it’s also where we took their engagement photos, nearly in the same place! There, they shared private vows and a quiet moment together before the rest of the day unfolded.
Their ceremony took place on the sun-drenched lawn, where boats drifted by in the background. A quintessential Kennebunkport scene. Right after the couple was announced as Doctor and Mr (this made me smile!) and the ceremony ended, a brief rain shower rolled through, cooling things off and bringing a little bit of that wedding day luck without interrupting any part of their celebration.
Cocktail hour followed in the Nonantum’s sun-filled indoor spaces, with light streaming through the windows as guests mingled and laughed. Dinner and dancing carried the celebration into the evening, with opportunities to step outside and soak in the perfect summer breeze.
Celeste and Kevin’s wedding was a beautiful reminder of why I love being a Kennebunkport Wedding Photographer. The mix of meaningful places, joyful moments, and loving people made for a truly unforgettable day.
