Ashley and Tony’s wedding at Scotland Fields in York, Maine was filled with heartfelt moments, meaningful details, and so much joy.
The day began with Ashley getting ready in the main house surrounded by her sister, bridesmaids, mom, future mother-in-law, and Tony’s aunt, who also had the special honor of officiating the ceremony. Ashley’s happiness was contagious as she hugged each person, gushing over how beautiful everyone looked in their gowns.
Meanwhile, Tony was across the property in the second house, preparing with his brother, groomsmen, and both his and Ashley’s fathers. One of the sweetest moments of the morning came when Tony’s aunt gifted him a pin featuring a photo of him with his grandmother, a keepsake he wore inside his jacket for the entire day.
Before the ceremony, Ashley and Tony shared their first look at Nubble Lighthouse, the very place where Tony had proposed. It was the perfect way to start their wedding day, honoring a place that held such deep meaning for them. Back at Scotland Fields, Ashley shared another emotional first look, this time with her dad, before joining family and friends to enjoy a few relaxed moments ahead of the ceremony.
The ceremony itself was filled with laughter and tears as Tony’s aunt officiated. Ashley and Tony’s vows left not a dry eye in the crowd. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn, mingling and playing lawn games under the late summer sky.
The reception was a beautiful mix of dancing, heartfelt conversations, and connection. Because they chose a smaller, more intimate wedding, Ashley and Tony were able to spend meaningful time with each of their guests—something that made the day feel even more special.
