If I’m being 100% honest the star of Rachel and Jack’s wedding wasn’t the couple, it was “Big Guy”. Ok so Rachel totally knocked it out of the park in her stunning gown and mega-watt smile and Jack looked very dapper in his white tuxedo jacket. But they couldn’t hold a candle to the special guest Jack’s dad (and best man) brought out during speeches and who later ended up getting beer funneled through him.
Curious yet? Big Guy was Jack’s childhood toy that he slept with every night. A very large, hard plastic T-Rex who, as we learned from the reception, is also hollow and able to funnel beer through him.
Ok but back to the couple! These two are simply amazing humans and we want to hang out with them every weekend now!
They couldn’t have had a better day to be surrounded by family and friends to celebrate their wedding. An eagle even flew overhead as they were getting ready. Which we were glad we had already brought down the drone!!
I think their proposal story sums up their entire day and with one word: Excitement. Jack had been coming up with plans to propose to Rachel for a while but when the ring came in he couldn’t wait. The very next day they went to walk their dog together and that’s when he got down on one knee and proposed. He was just too excited to wait!
Well here’s to not waiting and boundless excitement for each other. I think you can tell from their smiles throughout the day just how over the moon they both were!
