I don’t even know where to begin to describe Rachel and Eric’s Mountain Star Estate wedding from this past weekend. Every little part of the day and detail were put together so meticulously by the couple for their guests. From the minute Dean and I arrived until the minute we left, we felt like family – so we can only imagine how amazingly welcomed their guests felt!
Rachel was getting ready with her mom, best friends and sister, in my most favorite room in the Farmhouse. The entire property is so welcoming, but Rachel’s room was filled with light and smiles! Even an eagle soared by at one point! For this military wedding it was too appropriate!
While the girls were getting ready downstairs, Eric and his guys were upstairs getting into their uniforms – the sight brought Rachel’s mom to tears! She was so overwhelmed with happiness and emotion and we just loved it! Nothing beats happy tears on a wedding day!
The day continued with personal touches. As you can tell from the images Eric serves in the military but Rachel is also just as amazing! She travels the world bringing dental supplies and teaching dental health to children across the globe. Um. Amazing! In her travels through Nepal, South America, the US, etc she brought back details for the wedding. The Tibetan Prayer flags that hung over their ceremony space, the prayer beads and Bodhi Leaves they gave to guests as favors, the earrings all her bridesmaids wore were all from far off places too!
I’m excited to see where Rachel and Eric’s adventures take them!
