What a fun weekend! These two really know how to throw a party and make all their guests feel so welcome.
Dean and I first met with Paige and Mike last summer for their engagement session at Pemaquid Point Light followed by dancing at sunset along the beach at Pemaquid Beach. They’ve always had a spot in their hearts for this area so it was a natural spot for them to choose for their wedding celebration!
The day started with Paige getting ready on property at the 1812 farm with her girls and her pups in the Bristol Suite while Mike and his guys prepped at a home right down the road. While the girls sat in make up and enjoyed mimosas the guys played corn hole on the lawn and had a great time hanging out.
One of the main features of this area is Pemaquid Point Light so that’s where Paige and Mike chose to have their first look. While the bell tower was still under reconstruction from the winter storms, the rest of the property is still looking amazing! So we took advantage of the area and had their first look right by the lighthouse itself with sweeping views of the ocean in the background – although I doubt either of them even saw the ocean! Paige and Mike only had eyes for each other! Even though it was a busy afternoon at the point, it felt like they had the entire area all to themselves!
After a bit at the lighthouse, Paige’s mom drove them back to the 1812 Farm for the ceremony officiated by a family member. There was some tears and lots of laughs – especially as the couple was coming back down the aisle. Paige and Mike wanted to do a mid-aisle dip but in the excitement couldn’t remember how! I love the laughs during that moment between both of them and their guests!
From there on out the night was a total party! The dance floor was packed full from the minute it opened until the last song. Of course the guests were fueled by a delicious dinner and then late night whoopie pies!
We ended the night with getting an image Paige had dreamed about – the two of them under the stars by Pemaquid Point Light. We couldn’t have had a better night for that!
