On the last day of September, with the Maine coast basking in perfect 70-degree weather and calm seas, the couple said “I do” aboard Just Banded, a charming lobster boat captained by lobsterman, Captain Ethan.
Their wedding was not just about exchanging vows; it was an adventurous and deeply meaningful celebration of Maine’s rich coastal culture. Christi and Michael embarked on a journey to Seguin Lighthouse, creating a truly special experience that embraced the beauty of the sea.
The day began in Phippsburg, where Just Banded was docked and ready to take Christi, Michael, and the crew out onto the water. Marianne, their officiant, greeted everyone aboard, setting the tone for a relaxed and joyful day. The weather could not have been more perfect for a boat wedding. The warm sun shimmered off the water, and the calm seas made for smooth sailing as they headed toward Seguin Lighthouse.
As the boat cut through the waves, Lindsey, Captain Ethan’s wife, adorned Just Banded with fresh flowers that added a delicate, romantic touch to the vessel. The floral arrangements brought a pop of color to the boat’s deck, blending beautifully with the blue skies and ocean.
