The Wedding Planning Checklist | Maine Wedding Photographers

It’s that time of year again! Time to start planning for your wedding so here’s a Wedding Planning Checklist for you.

If you’re like me, when it comes to To-Do lists you like checking things off. I’m totally a Type-A when it comes to getting things done. I’ll even add things to my checklist just so I can cross it off.

As Maine Wedding Photographers, we are working a lot with couples who come from away to plan their wedding. With that comes challenges of finding and hiring vendors you may have only met through the phone/email – on top of that, things tend to book up faster here than in other parts of the country. Because Maine is a touristy area along with a big Destination Wedding location you’ll want to get a jump on things a bit faster than a wedding in another area. We’ve created this wedding planning checklist with events in destination areas in mind, you’ll notice a bit earlier timeframe for some things. Please feel free to adjust as needed!

The good thing with getting things done early? More time to kick back and relax before the big day!

Happy Wedding Planning!
