I first met Blair and Jon through their wedding planner for their summer wedding in Salem, MA. We got to talking about their wedding day and their story – that’s when they mentioned they lived in New York City. It’s always been a dream of mine to get to work in the city. There’s so many amazing spaces – the top of my list is the Brooklyn Bridge.
It just so happened that my family’s vacation in NYC for April vacation overlapped with 1 day that they’d be in town. Of course luck would have it that they were planning their trip to Salem for their wedding planning and tasting just when we were planning our trip to NYC. But that 1 day overlap was all we needed!
Thankfully it didn’t take too much convincing to get these two up for a Brooklyn Bridge engagement session at sunrise. They already had to be up early for work so just a little bit earlier and we’d get the bridge to ourselves (somewhat!). There’s definitely still a lot of people enjoying the bridge and views that early in the morning, but a lot less than at sunset.
It was so fun getting to stroll the bridge and take in the views with these two! I can’t wait for their wedding in two weeks in another history city – Salem, MA!
