From best friends to married! Ashleigh and Mike’s love story started in High School, but Mike didn’t realize it quite yet.
Ashleigh and mike met in high school, they even attended the Senior Prom together but if you ask Mike, he’ll say they were only “best friends” until college. He’s stuck to that story so long that it’s become a running joke with their friends that they went from being friends to fiancés.
And today they were married!
Finn, the couples adorable pup, has been an important part of their relationship and has attended all their important moments – from the couple’s proposal, their engagement session (on a boat named after him!), and now their wedding as a guest of honor.
Mike proposed in the Outer Banks on a family vacation on their normal morning walk with Finn down to the beach. Since it was an every day event, Ashleigh didn’t see it coming! She didn’t even see her sisters hiding behind the dunes to capture it all.
These two are an amazing couple with such a great story on their start as a couple. We loved working with them and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them – and Finn!
