There’s something magical about those early spring days in Maine—before the summer crowds arrive, when the ocean breeze is still crisp and the coast feels a little quieter, a little more yours. As a Cliff House Photographer, I had the joy of meeting up with a sweet family vacationing at the Cliff House in Ogunquit to capture some fun-filled moments during their weekend getaway.
With two adventurous little girls leading the way, we spent the afternoon running through the open grass, hopping around the iconic rocky shoreline, and soaking up all that fresh coastal air. The energy was high, the giggles were loud, and their lollipop bribes paid off, though we definitely ended the session with a few sticky smiles.
The Cliff House made the perfect home base for this family’s spring escape. When they weren’t outside exploring, they spent time swimming in the heated pool and relaxing in the hot tub. It was the perfect mix of cozy and coastal, a chance to unwind and just enjoy time together as a family.
I always say that some of the best family photos come from play, not posing and this session was full of exactly that. These girls brought all the personality and joy, and I loved capturing their silliness, their sister bond, and the love this family shares.
