Every part of our experience, from the first phone call, check-in emails, to our wedding day was an absolute delight! Brittany was kind and supportive and used her expert knowledge of Acadia to help us find the perfect spot for our ceremony (and our dream shots on a frozen lake at sunset after the ceremony). She was also really fun to be around!
In addition to all her help planning and checking in with us about weather, COVID, ceremony sites, her pictures are fantastic. She helped form our vision for the day and really captured the feelings and moments we wanted. We are so happy we hired Brittany, our wedding was better planned because of it, and we have amazing photos to remember the day. Every person that we've shared our pictures have gone "whoa, who took those?! They're amazing!"
We loved working with Brittany and Dean! They've captured many of our family events over the last ten years including all of my siblings' weddings and now my own. Not only are their pictures stunning, but throughout the whole process, they were so much fun! They even offered to grab anything we needed on our wedding day. Brittany and Dean have both mastered the art of capturing candid photos without being obtrusive. This was our first time working with their videographer Sara, but she also did great at this and was fun to work with. For our posed photos, which my husband and I don't normally enjoy taking, they had tons of fun prompts and suggestions for us to talk with one another and just have fun. We would highly recommend choosing Two Adventurous Souls!

I simply cannot say enough good things about working with Brittany and Dean, Two Adventurous Souls. From my first emails with them I knew I wanted to hire them for my wedding...they were immediately easy-going, flexible, and willing to work with our personalities, preferences, and budget. Because my husband and I came from out-of-state to get married in Maine, we had to do most of our vendor correspondence remotely so we first met them over Skype. They somehow blend incredible professionalism and personal approaches like I've never seen. They even went out of their way to meet us over breakfast one weekend when we were visiting Portland for other wedding business. We both felt like we had two amazing extra wedding guest-friends, but also at times like they weren't even there. And the outcomes?? Holy cow.. everyone was blown away by our photos, even our professional photographer friends! The 24-hour turn-around with sneak-peek and blog post was impressive and, over a month later, I'm still sharing the link for those who ask to see wedding photos. Our images are simply stunning. Brittany and Dean's talent and creativity are awesome, and they are a very fun pair to work with. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I can't wait to have an excuse to work with them again (Maternity photos? Dare by Brittany Rae?)
Two Adventurous Souls was our first vendor booked (besides venue) and that was because we knew we wanted the best photographers! From the very beginning, Brittany was giving me suggestions on other vendors, wedding timeline, etc. I felt like I could ask her anything about the day of, even if it wasn't about a photograph that was going to be taken. Brittany also did our engagement photos, which are my favorite pictures of my husband and I (besides wedding). She does amazing work and always captures the best sunsets. Brittany and Dean came to Bar Harbor for our wedding and were there on our wedding day for 10+ hours. My husband and his groomsmen had so much fun with Dean and so did the bridesmaids with Brittany. They did an incredible job with all of our photos. We had our sneak peak the morning after our wedding, which was such a nice surprise. To this day (almost 7 months later), I still have people tell me our wedding pictures are unreal. Thank you Brittany and Dean for making our wedding day so special and providing us with memories we will have forever.
