Justin and Elise's Lace Factory Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographers

Ever have a “business policy” you just had to break? Ours is not photographing family, friends, or family friend weddings. But this past weekend we broke that policy and we are so glad we did! Dean used to play hockey with Justin and their families have been friends forever.

Just and Elise’s Lace Factory wedding started with both of them getting ready at the gorgeous Water’s Edge Resort in Old Saybrook, CT. Elise had a villa overlooking the pool and gorgeous beach. While her and her friends got ready they had a perfect breeze coming off the ocean water and into the room. Unfortunately, thanks to the impending hurricane in Florida one of Elise’s Maids of Honor was unable to stay for the wedding but she was able to come up the day before and spend time with the couple before flying back the morning of the wedding.

While Elise was in hair and make up, Justin was a few rooms away with his guys. You’ll notice in the pictures Elise gifted Justin some Lego cufflinks. There’s a great story behind that because Elise had to build the lego box that came with the cuff links! Anyone who’s ever done one of those tiny lego sets knows it’s no small feat to put those together!

After their first look on the coast, the wedding party boarded the party bus to take them to the Lace Factory and the guests boarded the Essex Steam Train so they could arrive in style!
