On Saturday Kayli married her cowboy!
Patrick and Kayli first met in Portland on a beautiful Maine night, of course it was at a country bar. Although, she had no intentions of meeting a cowboy, let alone in Maine but it was meant to be. They exchanged numbers in hopes of meeting up again in the near future and planned a first date a few days later. Unfortunately that’s when Kayli found out that Patrick was only on a work assignment in Maine for 3 months before he had to return home to Wisconsin. Regardless they went ahead and went on our first date at Kayli’s favorite country bar - Erik’s Church. After the date ended Kayli excitedly went home and snuggled up with her mom on the couch and said, "I just met my future husband." From there on out, it was nothing but exploring Maine, having fun with friends, and getting to know each other. Patrick didn’t hesitate to pack his things up in Wisconsin and move to Maine to start their life together!

The couple began their wedding day preparations at Kayli's family home, which was a haven of natural beauty. As they got ready, they were surrounded by the serenity of a fountain-filled pond located in the backyard. After they were ready the had an emotional first look, Kayli and Patrick shared a private moment to exchange their vows, a deeply intimate and personal experience. This private ceremony allowed them to express their love and commitment in a way that felt meaningful to them.
The wedding ceremony itself took place at a picturesque apple orchard, Randall’s Orchard in Standish. Kayli and Patrick exchanged “i do’s” amidst the breathtaking sight of blooming apple blossoms. The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of these delicate flowers, creating a sensory experience that enhanced the beauty and romance of the moment.
The wedding reception was held in a unique venue—an airplane hangar. The spacious hangar was adorned with an antique prop plane suspended from the ceiling, creating a captivating and unconventional backdrop. With the hangar door open on the other side a soft breeze came in off the orchard. Touching speeches were given by Kayli's mother - her matron of honor, the maid of honor, the best man, and Patrick's father, each filled with heartfelt words of love, admiration, and well wishes for the newlyweds.
As the night unfolded, Kayli, Patrick, and their guests danced the night away, immersing themselves in the joy and celebration of the occasion. Friends waved glow sticks and donned light-up cowboy hats, adding an element of fun and excitement to the atmosphere. To end the evening on a memorable note, Patrick and his groomsmen shared a playful tradition from Wisconsin, raising their cowboy boots filled with beer in a lighthearted toast, symbolizing their bond of friendship and camaraderie.
This wedding was a true testament to the power of love. Kayli, Patrick, and their loved ones came together to create a day filled with beauty, meaning, and unforgettable moments that will be cherished for a lifetime.
