Marcello & Savi's Cliff House Surprise Proposal
Marcello contacted me over the winter and wanted to plan a surprise proposal for Savi. He hadn’t yet picked a location so this was one of the rare chances I got to help plan the weekend!
He had a few places in mind from southern to mid-coast Maine but one location that wasn’t on his radar was the Cliff House. I think that’s an amazing venue if you plan on popping the question. It’s true luxury from the moment you check in! On site spa, two restaurants, outdoor heated pool and hot tub. Even the restaurant has put domes outside for dining all year long. Not to mention if the weather doesn’t cooperate there’s still a grand lobby with 2 story bookcases, fireplace and grand windows that look out over the ocean.
It really is the perfect place! The only downfall? No cell service! That seems to be a trend where we do proposals. That just means way more planning in advance. Pre-proposal day I sent Marcello a map of the cliffs with some X’s and circles to show him where to come down onto the rocks and where to stand to propose to get the perfect angle of the cliffs and open ocean in the background.
It went off perfectly! Savi said “YES”!
