What a fun day! Every time we arrive for a Nonantum Resort Wedding we know we are in for a treat! From the beautiful season decor out front all the way through the professionalism of the staff and delicious food for the guests it’s a 5 star experience! Kristen and Mike’s wedding day was no exception.

Dean and I met Kristen and Mike last year at Kristen’s sister's wedding, also in Kennebunkport, up the street at the Colony Resort. It was a great time catching up with their family - who couldn’t be a nice group of people. And getting to meet Mike’s family who were equally as wonderful. You could feel the love everyone had for these two.

Kristen and Mike soaked up their day - Kristen in a stunning wedding gown from NYC and Mike in a custom suit with their wedding date stitched into the inside of the jacket. Surrounded by their friends and family who were enjoying the weather and sipping hot apple cider, they said their “I do’s” on the lawn of the Nonantum Resort under bluebird skies and one of the warmer days we’ve had since it officially became fall. After the ceremony, guests gathered on the lawn and inside the Nonantum for cocktail hour before sitting down to a delicious meal followed by a non-stop dance party thanks to the couples favorite band, Soul City.

We learned so much about Mike and Kristen throughout the day from their wedding ceremony (where not only did Kristen’s dad walk her down the aisle, he also performed their ceremony!) and all the speeches. Like, did you know Kristen can play piano? As a child, she certainly thought so. You could tell what an impact they have had on those in their lives from everyone we spoke with that day! The both have such amazing and caring souls we can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them!
