The ocean may have been particularly angry on the day of Victoria and Dylan’s River Winds Farm and Estate wedding but we weren’t mad. It made for an amazing day for these two at their first look location down in Biddeford Pool.
The day started with the usual hustle and bustle of a wedding day but these two were sitting back and relaxing. The couple prepped for the day in the gorgeous house on the River Winds Farm property - Victoria upstairs and Dylan in the kitchen with his guys. There was so much laughter and joy in their morning and I have to admit, after photographing this couple and their family I needed a coffee! And by “coffee” I mean a caw-fee, not to be confused with a cah-fee. I grew up in Connecticut so their New York accents and no-bs attitudes had me a bit homesick!
After their first look on the ocean we headed back to River Winds Farm where the couple exchanged vows on the lawn overlooking the gorgeous fall colors. I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing Victoria and her girls looked (ok the guys too!) in their shades of green and classic cut tuxes out in the field with the beautiful colors bursting behind them. The overcast day made for the colors to pop even more - and we even got a smidge of sunlight during the cocktail hour which warmed the guests on the deck and illuminated the couple for a few more images.
Shortly after that Victoria snuck off into the house to bustle her dress because she, Dylan and all of their friends and family were getting ready to party the night away in the barn.
We absolutely loved working with these two and their amazing families and I can’t wait to dig into their images further - these only touch the surface of the amazing day they had!
