Erin and Josh's Samoset Resort Wedding | Maine Wedding Photographers
It’s that time of year in Maine! The beaches are starting to fill up, the nights are warm and filled with the smells of campfires and, our favorite, the Lupines are blooming everywhere!!
Erin and Josh had one of the best days of the season so far! There wasn’t a single cloud in the sky for their Samoset Resort wedding! The day started with Erin and her girls prepping in the Pennobscott Bay room surrounded by twirling flower girls!
Erin planned out so many surprises throughout the day for Josh! From gifting him a scrapbook she made filled with all of their memories and then stitching his name from his military uniform to the inside of her dress!
The ceremony down by the water was a bit windy but combined with Erin’s amazing veil it gave us some of our most favorite photographs of the season so far!!
There were so many fun moments and personal touches that Josh and Erin put into their day that it’s so hard to write a blog post to describe everything! Everything at their reception was so very well thought out with their guests in mind - from personalized scented candles to give the entire room a fabulous scent and then each menu card had the guests name printed on it along with what they had selected for their dinner option!
The evening ended with a fun sparkler exit before Erin and Josh headed off to their after-party and then off on their honeymoon! Josh let Dean and I in on the secret location he was taking Erin for their honeymoon and we hope they are off and having a blast! (In case Josh hasn’t yet clued Erin in on where they’re going, we won’t share here - but we know they’re going to have an amazing time!!)
