The Z family literally had my side splitting by the time our session was over. I was also soaking wet! We started the session at their family home right on Wells beach for some formal portraits over the marsh from there we headed across the street, and down a rather steep staircase to the beach. After a few formal photos I convinced the adults to go stand just in the water for a picture before sending the kids running to splash them.
I totally didn’t think it would end the way it did! All hell broke loose and this family started throwing each other into the surf and everyone was soaked! The perfect ending was when the grandparents, celebrating their 50th anniversary, held hands and ran into the crashing waves! According to their daughter, they haven’t been in the water in many years!
I was so much fun watching this family really enjoy their session and let the moments take over!
