What’s more fun than spending your winter vacation in Maine taking in the sights and enjoying the holiday lights? Doing all that AND eloping!
Katie and Robert have a long history with the Maine coast, in fact, on our drive around town Katie pointed out lots of places her family worked and lived – even at one point making a two degrees of separation with Katie’s uncle and Catie, their planner & officiants, husbands coworker! It’s such a small world and there’s nothing like a wedding to remind you just how small it is!
The happy couple traveled up here shortly after Christmas to spend the week at their family condo right in downtown Kennebunkport. It’s really the perfect place to spend a relaxing few days, within walking distance to all Kennebunkport has to offer! It’s one of the best towns to get out and about with their pup, Cheerio.
To start the day we headed to a beach just past St. Anne’s Church, while the original plan was to have their ceremony on the lawn at St. Anne’s the gate was closed, so the beach next door had the perfect combo of beach and views!
After their ceremony we all hopped in Catie’s warm Jeep and trekked around Kennebunkport and Cape Porpoise for some fun photo ops. The couple then headed back to their condo to warm up and get ready for their romantic dinner at The White Barn Inn.
