Short Sands, York Beach Maine Family Photographer | The B Family
I’m just here to announce I will be moving into this family’s beach rental ASAP! When I first talked with Melissa about their family session she told me she was renting a house near York Beach and would like to do some images at the house before heading over to the beach. Usually rentals in our beach towns don’t have a lot of room - well - that’s not the case for their rental!
I arrived to meet her family after my dear friend Samantha had styled all fo their hair for the session. Everyone was lounging about in a glass walled room, sipping wine, overlooking the most amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. You can see the views below in the images where the family was standing in the grass. They were right by the fire pit where, if I owned the home, I would spend 100% of my time.
Melissa and her extended family came from all over to enjoy this summer slice of heaven. I connected with her brother in law and his wife over Costa Rica, where they usually live when we aren’t in a weird pandemic. They’re actually about an hour or so south from where we work a majority of our weddings there!
Speaking of hair, you have to check out the matriarch of the family’s awesome hair style! With light, pops of purple shining through at points she’s definitely giving me hair goals!
This family was so fun - we strolled along Short Sands beach and everyone played in the water for a bit at the end!
