Donell and Michelle’s Dreams Las Mareas wedding couldn’t have been more perfect!

We absolutely love photographing weddings in Costa Rica and are always curious how our couples come to choose Costa Rica for their destination wedding. For Donell and Michelle their story started 10 years before when they both met while working at Old Navy. After they had been dating for a while the couple took a trip to another Dreams resort in Puerto Vallarta where, among the palm trees and beautiful waters, Donell proposed to Michelle! So naturally when choosing a location for their destination wedding, a Dreams property was the perfect spot!

The couple’s family and friends gathered at Dreams las Mareas for the most fabulous week of lounging poolside, strolling the perfect sand beach on the property, and of course, enjoying the many amenities that come with staying at an all-inclusive resort.

Donell and Michelle selected the Renevouz Terrace for their ceremony. I’m pretty sure the terrace has one of the best views on the entire property! Overlooking the pools, surrounded by palm trees and the sparkling Pacific just off in the distance.

After the ceremony everyone was treated to amazing sunset views during cocktail hour on the roof of the Seaside Grille followed by a night of dancing under the stars and cafe lights!
