Cheers to Heather and Amin for being game for hiking to a scenic overlook at sunrise, the day before Christmas and the day after they landed back at Heather’s family home in Sunapee, NH. The couple live in Washington DC so their weather has been a bit warmer than ours so trudging through a little snow and ice in 30 degree weather felt a lot colder to them! Especially for Amin who grew up in much warmer weather.

Heather and Amin were such champs though and we got some amazing photos at the summit of a fun overlook that has now earned a spot in our location notebook! I know Dean was scouting the options of getting some Milky Way shots up there too. Hopefully one of these chilly winter nights we will be back up there under the stars!
